About Me
About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist in private practice, an AHPRA-approved supervisor, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Clinical Psychologists. I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Graduate Diploma of Languages (Spanish) from Macquarie University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Human Services (Family Therapy) from The University of Queensland.
My clinical work is grounded in both systemic thinking and cultural sensitivity. I bring this perspective into every aspect of therapy, supporting clients with an awareness of the relational, social, and cultural contexts that shape their experiences.
Before training as a psychologist, I completed a Bachelor of Economics at The University of Sydney and worked in corporate finance and management accounting. This background informs my practical, grounded approach—especially when working with professionals in high-demand roles.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and evidence-based. I am an Internationally Endorsed Schema Therapist and a Certified Advanced Practitioner and Consultant in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and completed the advanced Sensorimotor training in Los Angeles, studying directly with the modality’s founders, Dr. Pat Ogden and Dr. Kekuni Minton. Occasionally, I assist in training other mental health professionals in this somatic and trauma-informed method.
I have a particular interest in complex trauma, attachment-related wounding, and long-standing emotional difficulties. This led me to complete Dr. Janina Fisher’s Advanced Training in Complex Trauma and Dissociation in London, and later assist with the same training in San Francisco. I now facilitate small-group therapist trainings as part of the Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) certification program developed by Dr. Fisher.
Ongoing Learning and Facilitation
In early 2023, I became a Certified Professional Practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. This method supports healing from attachment trauma and addiction. I now facilitate international training cohorts, helping other therapists integrate this powerful approach into their work.
In 2024, I further expanded my therapeutic framework by completing and continuing trainings in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and Hakomi. Both approaches complement my existing modalities and deepen the trauma-informed, relational, and embodied nature of my work.
