I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice, a Psychology Board (AHPRA) Approved Supervisor, and a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists. I have a Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Human Services (Family Therapy) from The University of Queensland. I bring a systemic focus to my work with clients. Prior to becoming a psychologist and psychotherapist I completed a Bachelor of Economics at The University of Sydney and worked for several years in corporate finance and management accounting.

My approach to psychotherapy is informed by several modalities and perspectives. I am an Internationally Endorsed Schema Therapist and a Certified Advanced Practitioner and Consultant of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I completed the advanced training in sensorimotor psychotherapy in Los Angeles, which was facilitated directly by both Pat Ogden and Kekuni Minton. Occasionally I assist in the training of mental health professionals seeking to learn Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. These modalities of evidenced based therapy are ideally suited to long term problems, recurring difficulties, and complex psychological trauma. My interest in complex trauma and attachment wounding inspired me to attend Janina Fisher’s advanced training in Complex Trauma and Dissociation  in London, and I later assisted at the same Complex Trauma and Dissociation training in San Francisco. Occasionally I facilitate small group therapist trainings as part of Janina Fisher’s Trauma Informed Stabilisation Treatment professional certification training.

More recently, in early 2023, I became a certified professional practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry, which is based on the work of Dr Gabor Maté.  I have interned as a facilitator for four international training cohorts in this approach to healing from attachment trauma and addiction. More recently I have moved into the role of facilitating international therapist trainings in this approach.  In 2024 I added Internal Family Systems Therapy (Level 1) and Hakomi (Level 1) trainings to my professional toolkit, which both complement and enhance my current approaches to psychotherapy.
